A Warm Welcome to South Coast View

About the content on South Coast View

While I continue to write about a variety of subjects, it is fair to say that South Coast View has partially morphed – hopefully temporarily – into a blog about Ukraine and Russia’s aggression. I may be the only British alternative media blogger writing about the war in Ukraine.

You will continue to find niche content that is of specific interest to me.

The focus of articles on this website is history and travel (both UK and international), especially travel along the beautiful south coast of England. You will notice that I have a keen interest in tramway and railway history.

Many articles are off the beaten track, and some are presented here on the internet for the first time in English.
