About the content on South Coast View
While I continue to write about a variety of subjects, it is fair to say that South Coast View has partially morphed, hopefully temporarily, into a blog about Ukraine and the Russian Federation’s aggression. I am probably the only British alternative media blogger writing about the war in Ukraine.
You will continue to find niche content that is of specific interest to me.
The main focus of articles on this website is history and travel, especially travel along the south coast of England. You will notice that I have a keen interest in tramway and railway history.
Many of my articles are off the beaten track and some are presented here on the internet for the first time in English.
South Coast View is a not for profit website.

Some articles have Google Translate links
When articles are of interest to users in languages other than English, please look for the Google Translate links near the top of those articles.
For example, my article about the Bernheim Petition has Google translate links that will automatically translate the content into German, Hebrew and Polish.
Please bear in mind that these are Google machine translations that may not always accurately convey the sense of what I wrote in English.
